The Full Story
My journey in the world of fashion began as a Certified Mastectomy Fitter in the Prosthesis department at Nordstrom; I worked closely with vulnerable, audacious women to fit them for custom post-surgical bras. Seeing the joy a seemingly understated clothing item could bring someone, showed me the connection between mental and emotional health and image positivity. My clients and I would start with choosing their foundational items, but it wasn’t long before I was dressing them from head to toe, creating a fun and lighthearted experience through personal shopping.
A charity event or the company I coordinated opened two paths before me: one leading to personal styling and the other to event management. I chose the latter and found myself immersed in the world of client services; a world that taught me the essence of grace, patience, and the transformative impact of curated experiences. After a decade in events, I embraced my calling to blend experiential design with fashion, founding Style By Tipp in 2021.
"Be You, Intentionally" encapsulates my belief in the power of intentional choices and authenticity. Through education, I guide my clients in discovering, defining, and elevating their visual brand. It's about more than just style; it's about empowering individuals to authentically shine and communicate their essence visually.
For me, fashion and intentionality are a way of life. My hope is to share my love for the two through Style by Tipp.
